Band of Brothers and D Day fans

I found this site that shows several of the actual sites of combat around Carentan during the D Day invasion of WWII. What's special about it is that the gps location and an all direction, manipulate it yourself, view is presented of a number of these spots. There is also a map that shows the direction you are looking in as you move the photographic view around. You can also move around to different photo views by clicking on green dots in the map window you'll see to the left of the opening page of the virtual tour.

If you open a photo and see the discription in French, just scroll down and the English version is given.

When you get to the link, to start with, go down to the bottom right and click on LANCER LA VISITE VIRTUELLE
