Memorial day is a good day for a party.....even took the old hammock out of storage. We should celebrate what those who died for America, or because of some presidential notion like Vietnam, were really fighting for. The ones I remember would probably have wanted it this way for those they left behind......a celebration of their lives and not a wake. At least I would have wanted it that way if fate had taken a different turn.

Them BEEF ribs on that grill? You'll have old Bobby Lee spinning in his grave.

Beef ribs? That would be a sacrilege! Those are Baby Back pork ribs from the high dollar meat market. And they were delicious.
