I had a tour of the USS Enterprise in Singapore in 1971. We walked the flight deck and went down to the hanger deck. An interesting visit for me. The ship had more aircraft than most RAF stations even in those days when we had a few aircraft in the RAF. We don't seem to have many now and the RAF has half the people it had when I was in it.
