What you flew in....

Post by Niner Delta » Sun Jul 05, 2015 6:24 pm

Since we have a few aviation buffs around here, (and I'm bored) I'll start this thread.
Let's see photos of all the aircraft you have flown in, we have all flown in large commercial jets,
those can be left out.
Obviously not the exact aircraft, just the same make and model......
These are all I can think of right now, in no particular order.
The guy standing under the Chinook was me several times, exciting.........

Added some prop-job commuter planes..........

We can probably leave out the commercial airline jets, but the airline prop jobs are fun, maybe I'll go
back and add them to my original post..... :D

I would love a go in the Lynx or Gazelle..........

The Gazelle was amazing, flying below tree height in North Yorkshire on an exercise chasing 'enemy' and spotting for our QRF, talk about the seat of your pants....................

Been on a few light/commercial aircraft and helicopters but the RAF Britannia, VC10 and Wessex are the most memorable. :D

Short 330. Locally known as the Katydid. Weird. No separation of flight crew and passengers. Engine exhaust was deflected onto the leading edge of the wings as the "anti-icing" feature. Best seats were in the rear.
