The newest B52 flying is half a century old or there about. It's probably the plane of choice for bombing Isis cells in Libya....another undeclared war by our Peace Prize awarded President Obama...... and what Hillary or Trump will be using in Syria come next year.

I went out to Battleship park and photographed one that is on display recently. One thing I noticed was how close to the ground the wing tips are and somehow the wheels on the one at the park look too short even if they weren't on a cement pedestal.

The wingtip gear does look short, here are a couple of photos of other wingtip gear
and they do look longer. Or are the pods on the wingtips larger on your plane???

Peace is that brief, quiet moment in history.......... when everybody stands around reloading.
