Wrong link, Duncan....but interesting photo contest photos.

I read something yesterday about finding the "Lady Lex". Five hundred miles from Australia and 3000 meters down. And the amazing thing was that the US sunk it because it wasn't worth saving after being shot up by the Japanese in one of the two major sea battles of the Pacific. The guy who sponsored the search was some famous tech gazillionaire.

Yes, headed by Paul Allen, a Microsoft founder and gazillionaire owner of the Seattle Seahawks,
is the same group that recently found the USS Indianapolis, another famous WWII sinking.
Maybe next they will find the sunken body of Amelia Earhart ...... :cool:
