Rheinmetal-Borsig MK108 30mm Cannon as fitted to Messeschmitt Me 163 and Me262 jet fighters of WW2.

Adam, maximum rate of fire was 650 rounds per minute. The Me 262 carried four of these beasties in the nose. Here is a good link that contains better pics than mine.

both the weapon and the platform. The Me262 was really something. Good thing the head honcho was a kook.
