Gatling Gun from Amsterdam

Post by joseyclosey » Thu Sep 15, 2005 2:58 pm

Well, more a model of a Gatling Gun. A friend of mine bought this in an antique shop in Amsterdam, Holland recently. Its a very nice none firing, model of a 1883 model Gatling Gun. The barrels actually turn when the handle is cranked. He has since been told a salesman would have carried this model to show to potential customers.

Anybody seen one of these before? Would it be a salesmans aid? Is it something made by a keen model maker?

Any input appreciated. Check out the pics.
