Anybody got a guess???
Saw an ad on ebay for a SKS sight adjustment tool and an interesting sling swivel setup.
Couldn't resist and got both items for $6.29, although the sight tool is what I wanted, the
swivel is interesting. It is obviously well used, actual wear in the metal where the side swivel
is attached. No markings at all, went over it with magnifying glass.
I guess the threaded pin in the middle is just to hold it in place.
So any ideas what it goes on or why it has 2 swivels.............????

Peace is that brief, quiet moment in history.......... when everybody stands around reloading.

It's from a Czech VZ24 Mauser barrel band with swivels. They had dual sling choices.

That will be a real slow build at this rate......
I see you're down at Ocean Shores, spent a lot of time in Hoquiam when I was a kid. My aunt & uncle owned a
little restaurant on Lincoln St., right by the river. Last I heard the site now is Sasquatch Pizza, their house
and café are long gone.

The Sasquatch is still there. I've never been in, but I drive by it (within a block) every time I go to the big city. (Aberdeen)
In fact, I drive by it every time I leave town for anywhere other than up the beach...........

That's the place. From about 1945 until 1965 they had a little 24-hour restaurant called the Lincoln Café,
and right next door was their house, there was a covered walkway between them. Obviously they have
been torn down and replaced with a new building. I would sneak over to the café in the middle of the night
and the big fat night cook, whose name really was Bertha, would cook me anything I wanted. And sometimes
we went camping and clamming at Copalis Beach, those were some fun times growing up. Of course, that was
before there even was an Ocean Shores...........
