Anybody who used to be a member years ago still out there?
Just wondering what happened to some of the members that used to be interested in milsurps and post here. We used to have some contributors that those of us who remain used to think of as friends. Some of them must look in from time to time. It would be interested to see any of them post again just to let us know they are still alive...even if they have gone on to different paths.
If any of you are out there still and look in... .your old handle and password should still work if you care to say you are still among the living.
Some handles that come to mind....

If Tuco is the same Tuco over on Gunboards I know he is alive, but he rarely posts.

Re: Anybody who used to be a member years ago still out ther
Tuco posted here about 100 times years ago. He would mostly be calling attention to something he was involved with that was also posted at what had become Gunboards. But he had the first really popular milsurp site. Back in the day..15 or so years ago.. he had one of those difficult to read line to line messageboards that have long gone the way of the cassette tape and the dinosaur but at at the time he was on the crest of the wave and got hundreds of posts every day. With him in the internet drivers seat the milsurp craze seemed to take off and other boards followed. The style of the boards improved and the ease of making them improved until we've come now to a seeming improvement halt. Now days the messageboard is taking a beating from multiple other forms of internet communication. The milsurp feeding frenzy has slacked off considerably as well.
Just wonder if he is still even interested in milsurps at all and if he might look at the site once in a while...Gunboards as well as this one.

Dromia is involved in a UK firearms forum now. He is still active and a firearms dealer also.

Howdy! I'm still out here but don't seem to have as much screen time anymore. Still shoot Milsurps but now work for a firearms dealer which rarely accepts any
and does not have any on hand other than an occasional Garand or 1911.
When Milsurps dried up I indulged in a couple of Savage 99's and did get a nice 1917 Enfield Winchester mfg. this past year. Will try and post a pic sometime.
Adios for now! bolomk1@hotmail.com

Glad to see you posting Bolo. It's been a while. Do post a photo of your Winchester sometime.

I met AWO425 (Chris) last March in Germany.
We met at a gun range in Thuringia (former GDR).
We spent the entire afternoon talking and shooting of course.
He's a very busy man.
I see him post in a German firearms forum every now and then.
Met vriendelijke groet,
Martin

I have not been as active as I should on a number of boards.
My post count is low because I mainly read threads.
