Re: RANDOM QUESTIONS.......
Beat me to it.
I used to own on in .450
Very modern pistol with an in frame spring loaded firing pin.
Took mine to Ireland with me and, among other firearms, it had to be inspected by the Gardai in Dublin.
"Sure you can have it me bhoy, it's over 100 years old, (pause) but don't let us be findin' that ye've made ammo for it."

Re: RANDOM QUESTIONS.......
Well, It's been a week and no takers.... Stumped or not interested??
Anyway, it is a Fokker-Leimberger Split-breech (nutcracker) in 8x57 IS from circ. 1916
The one pictured must have been a developmental or prototype model as the final model had 12 barrels....

Re: RANDOM QUESTIONS.......
Just couldn't find it, certainly NOT uninterested.......
Unfortunately the wikipedia link doesn't have an image. I did try and make sure that any question I posted had at least 2 images on the net.

Re: RANDOM QUESTIONS.......
I looked for something like it online and couldn't find anything. Maybe if I had thought...."Nutcracker" of a question.

Here's several of the finished product:

The picture in my post was taken by me at some museum. I think it was the Kentucky State Military Museum in Frankfort KY.
