I haven't had much time to fiddle with it but it looks great for a free program

Does not seem user friendly...at least to this user.

seems to work ok for me.

except for that annoying (need serial number thing)

even got the picture thing to work

Whats giving you fellows problems??

now a couple things I found out while meddeling with it

if you start a new entry it won't close without a serial number

so give it one you can change or delete it later.

it has several things that must be in a value list. This simply means you must edit the list of stuff to include whatever you want to put in that part of the entry. to do this go to the bottom of the list that pops up when you click that part to fill in. it will say edit or edit list. click on edit or edit list.

this brings up the list of stuff. simply edit what you want in as one of the things in the list. Example .....I wanted to add 7.62

Nagant to the caliber list that pops up when you go to enter the caliber I scrolled to the bottom of the list where it said edit, then clicked on it. it came up with a little window that said Edit Value list "caliber" I went to the spot in the list

where I wanted 7.62 Nagant to be clicked on the end of the

one above it hit enter to make a space (just like adding a line between 2 lines on a post on the forum)and added 7.62 Nagant and hit ok. now it's on the list and able to be used as a caliber. all the value list type stuff works like that.

and you can have PICTURES of all your rifles in the database too under the images tab. (it don't like bmp files however so I

used jpeg.

Just too many fields that are not relevant to me GG. Think I will just set up a basic registry with a photo page. http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f392/ ... killpc.gif[/pic]
