Dick's stopped selling rifles with detachable magazines that could hold "Assault" loads. In a way it was a test to see how many of the large number of ban the "assault" rifle people would support them by doing their general sporting goods purchases with them. Looks like the people who deserted them over their act of public do good policy outnumbered the supporters by $150 million dollars last year. But the chain is so large that it was only a 1.7 hit in business revenue last year.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of Dick's before they got religion. Who in their right mind call's their business "Dicks" anyway?
