The cheapest canned beer you can buy in probably every state in the Union is called the "Beast" by many. The actual name is Milwaukee's Best. It's made by Miller...maybe from whatever grain they have that is about to go stale. You can buy a 12 pack in Alabama for less than $6.00. A 12 pack of Heineken or Sam Adams costs twice that.
It's not so bad. It tastes like beer, although nothing particularly flavorful about it. I think there are some other bottom dwellers that cost more that are worse.
All things considered, if you are just eating a baloney sandwich, this beer goes good with it.
Oh, by the way the "Premium" is something they had the nerve to add to the label in recent years. Back years ago the label wasn't so marked. Best originated as a beer company a hundred years ago before Miller acquired them. It's not Miller's best premium beer but should probably be stated as " Best beer", " owned by Miller", as close to "Premium" as Best beer is ever going to get.
One guy's list of the worst American Beers has it listed several above the very worst.
