I thought the Monkey nuts story interesting. I'd imagine monkey nuts would go better with beer.

I also read the monkey nuts article and it sounds like something our government would do too.........
Putting a warning on a bag of peanuts to tell people that it contains........... peanuts...........

People might really think Monkey Nuts were actually real monkey nuts I guess. Wonder if anybody is allergic to real monkey nuts? But...maybe the higher price would scare off most people anyway. Besides, it would probably be pretty hard to catch enough monkeys to collect a bag full...and getting the monkeys to hold still long enough to.... de-nut them.....to say nothing off how much a fight the monkey's might put up once they find out what is being wanted from them.

Instead of 'Rocky Mountain Oysters', maybe we could call them 'Jungle Oysters'..........

You know what the other name for Brazil nuts is, don't you? It has to do with toes..but you can't use it any longer without offending somebody. Maybe we could call them monkey toes instead.

Reminds me of Howard Cosell. "See that little monkey run!" He caught hell for that. Probably the only interesting thing he ever said on Monday Night Football.

Yes, I remember calling them that when I was a kid. But growing up where I did, it just didn't seem to
have the same intended slur that it does now. Simpler times I guess.
Just ask Paula Deen, but I hear she is making a comeback.

Am I the only one that thinks Paula Deen looks like the twin of Miss Piggy?
