Sriracha Sauce

Post by Niner » Mon Mar 09, 2015 8:06 pm

Noticed this bottle in the cabinet tonight. Tried it on some turnip greens instead of Louisiana hot sauce. It's a big hit in the US and is used by a lot of chain restaurants and fast food places in recipes. It's made with ripened chilies and comes originally from Thailand. The main producer is Huy Fong Foods and made in the US. Tastes like hot sauce but with a distinctive sweet note to it. Maybe it's the sugar in the ingredients.
