BBQ time suggestion

Post by Niner » Sun May 14, 2017 7:18 pm

It's that time again for those who have found spring has sprung to do some outside cooking. How about some cornish hen? Raise the grill to 5 or 6 inches above the fire. You want it to cook relatively slow. Baste the flesh side with melted butter and turn over about every ten minutes until done.... about 30 minutes give or take. If you like bbq sauce don't put on until the last few minutes. The cornish hens are usually in the frozen section of the super market. Cheap as regular chicken. Usually comes as two hens to a package.

For sides...how about thin spaghetti with a little melted garlic butter?
