Thought that you would be interested to know that the 2009 Bordeaux wines are expected to be STUNNING! If you have a chance, buy some and lay them down for a few years, they will be superb by 2018.
The vines around the house are starting to show buds and leaves which bodes well for the 2010 vintage!

I was thinking along the lines of being a subliminal sales device to suggest the product as an aphrodisiac. A bomb would be the wrong message I think for selling the stuff...images of hangovers from hell which is what wine does for me if I drink more than one glass.

Over the last couple years I have become quite fond of wine I still like a glass of beer but I find beer tends to bloat me after 3 or 4 pnts I am running out of room.
I like a red merlot and I prefer the drier white wines such as sauvingron blanc(thats probably spelt wrong) and chardonay.
It is worth paying a bit more for a wine there is a difference between cheap plonk and a good wine.
But I wont be drinking any more beer or wine for a while any way.LOL.
