Any Brits ever have a beer from this brewery?

Post by Niner » Wed Oct 21, 2009 10:24 am

Seems some Brits who like to dress up like WWII American soldiers and do re-enactment type things did a charity march from Ramsbury to some place called Lecote to raise money for some good cause. Ramsbury was where the 506 infantry of the 101st was located after being shipped to England before D Day back during WWII.

Looks like the Ramsbury Brewery made up a special batch of beer for the occasion.

Never heard of the brewery but The Deerhunter sounds good to me......

Deerhunter 5.1 abv
Ramsbury Winter Ale a rich ruby colour ale using the best roasted barley and English fuggles hops producing a full bodied and warming hoppy ale.
