G11 Sight Adjuster

I have started on the manufacture of a foresight adjusting tool for my Schmidt-Rubin 1896/11 rifle.
First job was to take careful measurements so I can create a wooden pattern and thus transfer the idea onto a metal plate.
I don't have a drill bit the right size for the initial hole ( 18.5mm - 23/32" ) so had to 'mock it up' with a file. Drill bit on order from Amazon.
I have cut a blank from some aluminium plate 8mm thick to work on although it might be a little thin for drilling and tapping the moving thruster so I ordered a small plate of 12mm, that should do it!
