I'd suggest hollow base slugs from a Lyman or Lee or similar mould; you might find that they perform better from a rifled barrel.
Looks a solid and powerful gun, probably at both ends :D

Going to hunt the deer that get into the vinyard? French deer like grapes I'd imagine.

I'd suspect those slug guns would have the advantage of having a shorter extreme range over a rifle if missing its mark? Probably endanger fewer Frenchmen living in vinyards? :bigsmile:
