Need help with ID'ing possible first SMLE

All right, I got him down to $275 for the rifle. I put $75 down on it. (I have some other gun related purchases this month, which is why I'm not just buying it outright). I got a bore light, and I have to say this is the best bore and barrel I've seen on an Enfield.

Here are some more pics, I found some more marks on the stock. They look like new marks, to me, as does the stock.

The U type stamp is the Enfield ED logo, its actually a E and D locked together. The arrow with a circle on each end is a percentage mark, it means this item was selected as part of the 10% check on parts for quality. And because its got the ED logo which a 1920s logo, I believe it means that this rifle was FTR'd or repaired in the 1920s or more likely 1930s.
