A gentleman is entitled to demand honour if he is wronged in some manner, today honour was satisfied on Short Siberia range Bisley.

Brian shooting his No4 Mk2 and I am giving the Sht Le MkI*** an outing, it would appear to be shooting to the left by about a foot at 200 yds so I will zero it on Sundays LERA practice.

Brian shooting my L39, I recently had a No8 butt put on it for the higher comb. Very pleased with it, I had to prise it back out of his hands!

Some other LERA lads who turned up to shoot on the day, all Enfields!

I think in this one I am asking Brian what makes him a piss poor shot, sorry his reply was too rude to post on a forum frequented by true gentlemen!

Brian bought a few different batches of reloads to try in his No4 Mk2 which has been returned to it's original target rifle configuration, it was originally supplied from Fazackerley straight to Parker-Hale.

The grudge match was a success.....................I Won!!!
We decided on two sighters and ten to count, we both converted our second sighter and seemed to be neck and neck all the way through the match, so much so that I won by one point!

Size matters?

Post by dromia » Tue Jun 21, 2005 1:14 am

Width=500 doesn't apply here, so do we need to resize before posting?

The limitations

Post by Niner Alpha » Tue Jun 21, 2005 8:16 am

The limitations on picture posting will be set by the program. No sizing will be required. The programing hasn't been done yet to limit size. And... the programing to put the picture posting attachment screen here is not in place either, although you will be able to link as well as use the site's hosting for pictures. .

Go to http://www.6thofthe31st.com and see how that looks. Go to the shooting the breeze forum there and use it as a "test" forum if you want to get a better idea of how it is going to work. However, the picture size in the attachment there needs to be adjusted to larger from our end. You'll have to be "registered" there, as I see that is no problem for you already in this Adam.

Hey, asside from the distorted screen, I kind of like to see the pictures very large size.

Image Sizing

Post by Guest » Tue Jun 21, 2005 10:12 am

For the automatic image sizing to work, you have to post the image through the attachment box at the bottom of the posting form. If you just link to a picture from somewhere else, nothing is resized.

If you are going to link to external images, it would be prudent to resize the images to something a little smaller. This would make your picture space go further, and it would make the site more accessible to people with slower internet connections.

Images that are posted through the attachment control will appear as small thumbnails in the post, but they can be clicked on to reveal the full-size image.
