Just starting to sort out the webcam and we have a couple! They have both been in the box so lets hope for some young later............

Well, still two Little Owls and after sitting around this evening - Weyhey for a couple of minutes! Then a rest. Hard work making Baby Little Owls. Could hear the patter of tiny feet in May! :D :D

We have a new CCTV camera for 2017 complete with sound and much improved colour. It also records which might be interesting.......

I opened the nesting box yesterday and found 4 eggs. I am sure that the Owls had one young but the reason that them other eggs were not hatched is a mystery although one possibility is that there was a Blackbird nesting in the barn as well and there were quite a lot of Magpies around last summer.
