Ammo collection

Post by Dutch Mosin » Tue Oct 01, 2013 3:03 pm

A couple of months ago I applied for an ammunition collectors license.
Been thinking about starting such a collection for a long time.

Like my Mosin Nagant collection my ammo collection has to have a theme.
Well.........finding a theme wasn't very difficult.

Theme of my collection is Russian/Soviet small caliber ammunition from caliber .22 to 14.5x114mm.
Within this theme I want to specialize in the 7.62x54R cartridge.
I will not only collect the 7.62x54R cartridge made in Russia or the Soviet Union, but worldwide.

I already have 7.62x54R cartridges made in Russia, Soviet Union, Various Warsaw Pact countries, Finland, UK, USA, China and Egypt.
Here's a picture of the 1st part of my 7.62x54R collection.

Hello all.
Went to a meeting of Dutch ammo collectors today.
Along with some 7.62x54R, 7.62x39 and 5.45x39 ammo I found this little box.
I do have a couple of Nagant cartridges in my collection, but this is my first complete box of military ammo.
