Everybody takes the sunset and sunrise photos, right?

I started this forum for any collecting hobby and it turned into my camera collecting and using forum. I use it mostly to keep a record of my photo adventures. Nobody but me seems to have photo adventures that visit here....but however. I have so many cameras now that I forget which is which and which ones work and which ones don't. If you have cameras and adventures you would be welcome to post here.

Everybody takes the sunset and sunrise photos, right?

It's a pretty much stock item for every getaway tourist adventure to anywhere for everybody who has something to take photos with. Just came back from a couple nights at the beach....and here are this trips stock everybody takes them images. Sunset and then Sunrise over the Gulf of Mexico. Getting both events on the East coast or the West coast would be difficult but on the South coast, just look right and left at twelve hour intervals... more or less.

Very artistic, Duncan.

I took one of the pier at about 1200mm equivalent with the Canon SX50HS.... the earlier version to yours. Hand held with only the internal image stabilizer the photo comes out like an Impressionist painting. Here are two examples. The first one is from yesterday. The second one is from last September. Same outcome more or less.
