MY OTHER PASSION

Post by SCREWLOOSETC » Tue Jul 29, 2008 5:15 pm

I've had this motorcycle for about 20years now. It has undergon partial restoration in the drive train. Some day when I hit the lottery It will get a full restoration. It is a 1960 BMW R69 considered by many as one of BMWs best. I got it from the guy who brought it home from Germany on a destroyer in the late sixtys.

Nice machine = More photos please (we likes photos ;) )

I used to know a chap who claimed to have owned two Vincent Black Shadows, both bought as wrecks/relics and rebuilt by him - one kept in 'concourse' condition for shows and the other he used as his regular 'daily' machine.

Apparently he lost them both when he went bankrupt (and according to him, they were sold at a lot lower than the market price).
