The really big game today at 3pm CST

Post by Niner » Sat Dec 05, 2009 1:07 pm

The really BIG game of the football season is today at 3pm central time on CBS in HD. This is bigger than the Super Bowl is going to be.....unless New Orleans makes it that far. I can't wait for Alabama to have another crack at Florida. Have to run out for beer and snacks and get the remote control handy.

Gee. For a minute I thought you were talking about Army-Navy. That's the real deal, everything else is just a game!

And the Saints won the Super Bowl! Now that is about as earth shaking and surprising a happening as the second coming would be.

When I was in the Army I rooted for the Navy in that particular yearly football contest. Mainly because I would never have to salute any of them. :loco:

Army-Navy is always a big day around the ol' homestead. My wife's first husband was an Annapolis grad and career Naval officer, me just a one time Army enlisted. She never fails to gloat when Navy wins!
