Take a photo and post it.

I started this forum for any collecting hobby and it turned into my camera collecting and using forum. I use it mostly to keep a record of my photo adventures. Nobody but me seems to have photo adventures that visit here....but however. I have so many cameras now that I forget which is which and which ones work and which ones don't. If you have cameras and adventures you would be welcome to post here.

I think Duncan is messing with us, he may have taken the photo, but not all at once.
The shooting photo looks photo-shopped to me, I think it is a composite of 3 or more photos.
The shadows on the mans body don't match where the light (muzzle flash) is coming from.
Why is he wearing dark glasses at night?
His trigger finger is too far to the rear.
From his left hand forward, a shotgun has been added to replaced the original rifle.
The flash has too defined edges and should have some smoke around it.
I think he took a very good "Harvest moon over the vineyards" photo and added the shooter.

Duncan you rascal, what have you really done??

Vern.

W E L L..............................................Made for a competition 'Shooting at Night' from 2 images. I cut the shooter out of one and then imposed the landscape on top, erased the bit to show the shooter and blended the 2 images.
The only work on the shooter was to turn him round and make him a left hander. Everything else is as it was taken. He is shooting BP cartridges from a Baikal Coach Gun using Magtech Brass Cases which I loaded for a
site that changed the rules after I did 50 so they are still in the box in the gun cabinet :(

The photos that you post are great, I just don't have a good eye for photography, but then I'm not artistic in other ways either. Some have it, I don't, that's life.
"BLUEBELL WOOD, YORKSHIRE." is my very favorite so far, and I'm going to steal it for the wallpaper on my desktop....

Help yourself Vern, I'm glad that you like it.

I remember when I took it although not the exact day. I was driving home from work and saw this blue/purple flash through the trees of a wood in Scissett between West Bretton & Denby Dale. I had my camera with me because I had been photographing some steelwork on a radio tower that I wanted reproducing.
I parked the car off the road and walked up a hill into the wood and found this fantastic view. I must have spent about an hour wandering round and taking pictures, some of which turned out to be 'classics'
When I got home I was late for the evening meal and spent the rest of the evening in the dog house but once I had the film processed Elaine understood why I was late.

I think to date I have sold over 30 copies of this particular one. :D :D
