VICKERS Mk: 1

Probably the most popular caliber firearm in most of the world. Many of us have more than one. They also are very collectible and still cheap to shoot.

Silly offer or not, that is a fantastic rifle
I like these older .22 rifles.
Great find Duncan.

Going to a big Arms and Collectors fair in Poitier on Feb 28th so will be on the lookout for a rear aperture sight.

Duncan,

Looking at the pictures it seems that the rifle had some sort of scope installed next to the aperture sight.
Any chance of finding one at the Arms and Collectors fair in Poitier?

To be honest Martin I would rather be able to bring it back to the original sight system

There was a telescopic sight http://www.rifleman.org.uk/Parker-Hale_Targetscope.htm buit that would probably be more that I paid for the rifle

I just found one on ebay.........745,00 USD - Environ 662,58 EUR
