my new US marked 22cal
shes a 'short' only , winchester winder musket , late version , and in fairly decent shape - abit over 11000 purchased in about 1918-19

That's the first one of them I've ever known about or seen.
Very nice indeed, its been on my wants list for years.
You can't help but love falling blocks.
Saw and shot one many many years ago, it was as nice as yours. The owner treasured it and rightly so.
Travelled a few hundered miles three or four years ago on the whisper of on for sale, when I got there it wouldn't have made a poker, not restorable safely.

shot it - it shoots very well , far better than i can with irons and my 60 year old eyes
