Polish Wifama 22 target rifle

Probably the most popular caliber firearm in most of the world. Many of us have more than one. They also are very collectible and still cheap to shoot.

Polish Wifama 22 target rifle

Post by Candyman » Wed Jun 02, 2010 10:17 pm

A friend of mine told me about the Polish Wifama 22 target rifle last year. Only a few hundred have been imported by a single importer. I do a lot of stock work for this friend of mine and most of the time we tread out guns for the work I do. He asked if I wanted one of these rifles and I told him yes. The funny thing is, I didn't know what I was getting because I had never heard of or seen a Polish Wifama. :?
Well I got it from him the other day and I do have to say, I am very happy.
The rifle was built in 1987 and appeares to be in unissued condition. It has an adj. trigger, removable sights and a 5 round magazine.
The sling that is on the rifle was on the rifle when shipped from Poland.
I was able to shoot it and I was able to shoot 1.5 inch 5 shot groups at 50 yards.

What a sweet looking rifle, I would like one of those but it's unlikely there are any in France - as usual

How does it shoot, Lee.

I'm in full on begging mode hoping that Preach can get me one of those.

I have only played with it so far. I was shooting 1 1/2 in, 5 shot groups at 50 yds with Fedreal Champion.

Clay
Why don't I just bring the rifle over to your house and we take it to the range and play with it.
Maybe in the next week or so.
