Probably the most popular caliber firearm in most of the world. Many of us have more than one. They also are very collectible and still cheap to shoot.

I only have one .22 rifle at present which is the first rifle I bought here when I joined my first club after we arrived.
It is a Norinco JW-25A which I paid 219.97€ for in December 2004.

I have re finished the stock in a dark stain and have mounted a 4x32 scope on it. I had to extend the stock as well but didn't do a very good job of it but I get 1" groups at 100mtrs with Blazer ammo and enjoy shooting it.
Maybe I will have another go at it now I have a couple of good jobs under my belt!

Here it is with it's big brother, my K98k before I returned it's stock to the original finish.

JW-25a rifle, when you can find them around here. go for about $400.
I have a German KKW 22 Trainer, just one of my 40 some odd 22s.
