Great. I'm sure you are looking forward to getting it setup on your rifle.

I notice that the sight cover strap isn't going through the hole in the frame. I think this is probably as it should be, however, the one I have has the strap going through the frame which makes it easier to keep up with the cover. I wonder what the "real" snipers did and how often the straps were reworked to use the frame as keeper?

Your scope has a war time date. I wonder if this is the actual date or something constructed to look like the wartime date. Mine has no year date but certainly an after WWII product.

It's a reproduction scope built on the SVT pattern.
