PU Scope base needed

Post by Mosin Man » Mon Feb 16, 2009 3:02 pm

I’m in need of a 53.5mm PU scope base. I have a 54.5mm base to offer in exchange or I will buy, or both. Any leads as to where I can find one would be also greatly appreciated. I would like an original of course, but will settle for a reproduction until an original can be found. I have several links on reproductions. My base is a Post War of Polish manufacture.

Thank you

Have any of you had any dealings with Accumount? They have the scope base in all three sizes 55.5mm, 54.5mm, and 53.5mm. Since there is no leads on a original it seems I will have to resort to a reporduction until a suitable replacement can be loacted.

Thanks

I found a 53.5mm original Russian PU base. complete with screws, pins, and original wrapping. The internet sometimes can be a useful tool.
