Niner, I fired on the 50cal range in 1980. Same APC's !

My Drill Sgt, told our Reserve Drills to just let me go for it as I was prior service and was the only one that knew how to use the T&E mech properly.

It's the same range. I was there for TOW missile school but had to qual on the crew-served stuff. Had to keep kicking the brass out from the ground mount to work the T&E. Man I was good.

Bob,

Could you post a photo of a close view of the right hand side of the receiver of your friend's .50, I'm curious to see if it has the modified barrel locking spring?

What's T&E?

Eoin,

I can but it will be a week or so till I see him. I pretty sure its is not modified. As he has two ,the one in the pic is a re-build under his manufac license. I think the side plate (r side) is a re-weld to put it together.

But I will check...and post a pic

Here's mine, it's converted to semi auto but it's all WW2 vintage cept for the top cover.

It's great fun to shoot!

How did you come to own it and with it being semi auto, is a special license required to own it?

It is the first semi built by KMP he is the company that makes the semi trigger conversions for 1919's and M2 and M3's

This is the gun that was sent to the ATF and is serial No 1

You do not need any special Lic. for this, it transfers just like a regular rifle/shotgun.

It's fun to shoot for sure but the ammo hurts you in the wallet!!!!!

And yes, I do reload, still hurts!
