Joe, good pictures. Just wondering if you know if soldiers in the Brit Army have access to their assigned weapon or weapons all the time while not assigned to some hostile area of the world.

Joe, that would have been about like the US Army of 30 years ago. Now days the trainees get issued an M16 right after they enter basic and have to carry it around with them everywhere they go during their training period......at least that is what I understand.
