First shoot of 2009

Post by oldironsights » Mon Jan 12, 2009 1:32 pm

I got to go shooting on the third of January.

Here are some pictures just before the rains came.

Winds were gusting near thirty knots.

My PSL has been such a disappointment, it currently resides in a gunshop with a sale sticker on it.

This SVT40 was a hoot to shoot! :D

All shots were in the bull from 200yds away with the issued iron sights.

Why do I shoot better with iron sights than with a glass?

Also pictured is an M1 carbine assembled from parts.

Coincidently my first shoot of 2009 was also on 3rd January, the weather was cold and bright.

Love the SVT btw . You have some really nice kit OIS.
