Had a chance to look closer at it today, seems in very good condition. I also got the cases & bullets I ordered to try. cases fit the cylinder OK and the bullets look as though they will fit the cases with a slight flare. They are 171 grains ± and 11.4mm / .450" OD.
I ordered a set of Lee dies from Henry Kranks in the UK. Including delivery I saved about £17 over the price here in France..............

Just plated......

To give everyone an idea of how nice people are on these gun board sites, I asked a question on the Cast Bullet site a couple of days ago and now a guy in Denmark is sending me 200 .454 bullets and 200 converted 45 LC cases :D He just offered when he saw what I was paying for the H&C cases!

Life's good sometimes.........................
