SOLD AS;
Webley Royal Irish Constable of the Egyptian police.
Revolver 6 shots, single and double action in 476 caliber Webley.
This is not one of the many copies English, Belgian or American but an authentically stamped
Webley weapon.
Marking WEBLEY P. & SON LONDON & BIRMINGHAM, and on top of the carcass.
As an indication the revolver is 24 cm long.
Flawless operation
Very good scratch, good barrel.
Some black spots on the butt pads.
A powerful and robust weapon: a safe bet.
Easy to procure ammunition from the company h & c.
Not to mention that it is possible to draw the 11.73 of the French revolver with this weapon
(the opposite is not true)

Cases can be produced from .45 Auto Rimmed, trimmed to length and rim thinned to 0.04" thick it says in my newly acquired copy of Handloaders Manual of Cartridge Conversions.

Got it for €300 less than the asking price. :GBR:

I'm officially jealous! Those older big-bore Webleys just don't show up where I am.

I think it means you can shoot the French round in the Webley, but not vice-versa...

Yes, you have to remember Vern, that translation is a Google one :oops: I have ordered some cases and bullets
for a try before getting into casting etc.,
