Polish handguns

Post by OneFreeTexan » Thu Aug 24, 2017 8:27 pm

I think I saw recently that JG was selling pairs of Polish handguns, one 63, and one 84,,(do I have hose numbers right) for $400.

What do you think?

I got a P64 seven years ago from SOG. Paid a total delivered price of $191.58. For a carry pistol it would be ok. As as shooter, the handle is a bit skimpy and the recoil is felt in the web of your hand between finger and thumb. Don't have one of the others.

Well, I had the numbers reversed, thank you,,I am not a semi fan, like revolvers. However I have. A Spanish Star which is great, Nice heavy steel...and a CZ-52 which is loads of fun to shoot at night, Reviews of the 83 are pretty good, the 64, just so so,, but hey a gun's a gun.

I got a Czech CZ52. Shoots alright but the grip seems a bit wide front to back and the back clip to hold on the plastic looks a little funky. Back once upon a time they were really rare and commanded really high dollar mounts but were , by 2000 pretty common and only brought $150 or so as thousands were dumped on the American market all at once. Now they might be hard to find and bring more money.

I have a Star that looks like a Colt 1911 ..but in 9mm and without the hand grip safety.
