Holsters may be important for your pistols

Holsters may be important for your pistols
You can get a generic holster for any pistol. However with collectible pistols you want the "right" holster. That means one made specifically for the pistol that is in your collection. Arch suggested this post from the last group Skype chat.
What you have in the photo are the following pistols. As numbered. Nagant 1895, Makarov 9mm automatic, Manuhrin PP under license from Walther, Italian Beretta M1934, Czech CZ82, Single action Colt model Army reproduction, 1911 model 45 cal, reproduction 1860 Colt Army, and Czech CZ52.
Can you match the holsters to the pistols? PM me your list matching letters to numbers. First to send me the correct matching gets an attaboy and a couple of these things.....
This should be pretty easy actually.....for Americans at least. So the winner should be announced shortly.

You did better than you expected. You got four right..counting number 6 mistakenly posted as number 9 as number 6.
Ok...don't pm me your answers. I hereby forget that rule. Anybody can just guess in this string.

Even Arch, who suggested it, hasn't made a guess. This site is deader than I thought.

Re: Holsters may be important for your pistols
That 1911 and holster matching is a bit misleading. That's a Colt Systema 1911 made with Colt machinery in Argentina under license to Colt and an exact copy of the US model and not a US military pistol. And the holster is not the long used leather Military version of most 20th century conflicts. The holster is Model M-12 introduced in 1984 for the Baretta Model 92S 9mm pistol but also used by Special Forces and the Navy for the Model 1911A1 down to today.
That M-12 holster is really a top end holster for any large automatic. Lots of features that enables it to be used with or without the flap and it can attach to web gear in a number of ways. My particular holster was gotten from an Army and Navy Store for about $25.

Re: Holsters may be important for your pistols
That 1911 holster tricked me, I have never seen one like that.
So I got only 77.7%, that is a C grade, or are you going to grade on a curve??..............

You actually had to miss two if you only missed one. So... I'd give you a B easy.
