Enfield Mk VI 1926 .455 converted to .45 ACP/AR

Post by The Virginian » Sun Apr 03, 2011 8:33 am

I just acquired this gun recently and I was wondering besides the different markings are there any parts that will not interchange with a Webley Mk VI or are they the same gun as here in the US when Colt had to let the Springfield Armory make 1911s in WWI?

i wont swear that everything will interchange like US required because the commonwealth did not make that mandatory - some fitting might be required , but yes , its the same revolver , the government essentially ripped webley off with this and the mkIV ,
