My Walther WWII bring back .22 is civilian too. I also have one of those copies made in France for a while.

Nice Walther, but why do you say it a 1937 mfgr? To be that early it should have the 90° safety. It should also have the crown N nitro proof. What is the ser nr?
I'm looking for a frog Walther in 22, either a PP or a PPK. Also need slide parts for a 22 cal PPK.

There is no known exact time period that the change from 90 to 60 took place.
If you do know , please provide the source of the information.
The majority of so called experts say it was 1937-1938.
There are PPK's earlier than 1937 that have 60 and PPK's after 1937 that have 90, all correct.
This PPK also has the last three digits of the serial number etched into the under side of the slide
