I have about $1600 in these 3 together.

The AR's are both Model 1 kits, one on a RRA lower, the other on a DPMS. The finish is nicer on the DPMS but the upper to lower fit is tighter with the RRA.

Just got 500 rounds of 7.62x51 in so I hope to make a trip to the range this weekend to try out the FAL.

Dante, if the black stays on the rifle when you pick it up it qualifies, if it comes off on you it just needs cleaning. :D

Aha... M17(?) is that an M-16 plus one mistake! For our Brit friends, the Lotus 45 (? many years ago) F1 car was said to be a Lotus 42 plus three mistakes.

I have'nt had much experience with automatics sense ' 69 ( I put ~K's rounds through my M-16 and different 60 machine-guns [both bi-pod and tripod suported]), but I did shoot my SKS last month and that was fun. I'll like to find a few more, but most are illeagel in PRK. My Chinese SKS is devoid of a bayonet and granade launcher; All SKS's with a bayonet are verboten as well, unless they are converted Yugo 52/66's!

My buddy has a full M2 .50 in it's tripod. Stupid PRK rules will allow only one round at a time to be loaded into the gun. he encouraged me to get my C&R license... I'll git him for that!

With an M2 and a scope all you need is one round at a time.

mine is a DPMS , factory is about a mile from my office at the local range , felt a bit of loyalty and am much impressed with finish/function/fit , picked up an SA M1A as well and am still warming to the fit but love the function and am pleased with the finish , now to put a scope on it , ive looked at a nice leupold as i was told switching out my trigicon ACOG was not a good idea - was hoping to fit the AR with the EOTECH i picked up , ill probably use it as an excuse to buy another
