It looks like Worcester Sauce. Does it taste something like Worcester?

Re: Banjo
No it has it's own taste, not as 'fishy' as Worcester Sauce some say..........

Re: Banjo
Surprised me too Peter.
Re: Banjo
I know this is an old string, but I happened to go to a Publix grocery store for a change today and saw both the HP and the Daddies on the shelf. The Daddies was a little cheaper by a few cents but I went for the HP as the original. I noticed on both brands that they are made in Holland. And the HP has that hallmark that says the Queen gives her stamp of approval as being up to Royal standards. Seems like if the Queen were approving it that it would be made in England.....
Haven't really tried it on anything , but it tastes a little more like Heinz 57 than A-1. A little more vinegary tasting than Heinz 57 or A-1.

Never would have thought to call that a Teacake, but it is one of my favorite breakfast combinations.
Although I would toast and butter the muffin, then add a slice of Tillamook sharp cheddar cheese........
Damn, makes me hungry just talking about this stuff.

Re: Banjo
That looks more like a stottie to me Duncan, and 5 or 6 rashers of bacon does seem a bit extravagent.

You betcha Joe. You have to remember that is French bacon and it is cut with a laser beam - you can see through it mate!
Going to try and turn this into a regular order with the local Boulangerie
This should help some understand a bit more
