Milsurp collectors are familiar with stripper clips and charges. The Swiss also used their own version to rapidly reload their rifles through the open bolt into the magazine.
The stripper clips each hold 6 rounds, sufficient for rifles like the 1911, 96/11, K11, and K31. The 1889 had a 12 round mag and so was loaded by two stripper clips.
Colorful! The brown ones on the top left are the ones commonly encountered and used for loading live ball ammo. The rest are for training: green and white are for blank and red is for brass dummy rounds (That tan one also has dummy rounds in it). Not pictured: Purple ones would be used to hold armor piercing ammo.
Now if you want to be extra knowledgeable compare the two brown ones for regular ammo with that pinkish one. Notice that the pink one has one indentation in it while the brown ones each have two. Those two indentations mean that those clips are for the K31 while single indents are for the older models. Don't worry though! The newer ones work fine with the older rifles, but an older stripper clip supposedly does not work as smooth in the K31.
