Fête National

This is the place for thoughts that you want to share about nearly anything that comes to mind. Politics is ok as well. All notions and opinions are the view of the poster and not this site. Just remain civil in whatever you wish to express.

Trump doesn't even drink. He feels no embarrassment about anything. He has to have the hardest hide of any President we have ever had....and certainly needs it.
From that photo it looks like if these people were unknowns the match of husband to wife would certainly swap the actual spouses around based on age.

Taken from a video I shot last night while playing with my model cannon in honour of Bastille day! :FRA:
Can't seem to make the camera auto focus when it is running on the tripod and I am in front of it. BUGGER!

Maybe it has one of those read your eye things and anticipates what you are looking at to adjust focus.....and since you don't have your eye against the finder it can't figure out what to focus on. I've got some film cameras like that. Or maybe you just need to block the view window... I have some like that.

What kind of camera were you using?

My Canon 60D with a Tamron 18/270 lens. I left the image stabilizer on so perhaps that was a contributing factor - it was on the tripod.
