Just won this on Naturabuy.
Savage Model 99c in .284 Winchester.
Dies, Powder, Cases and Bullets all on order...............

Well, it arrived this morning, in very good condition for a 50 year old rifle. Manufacture date is 1967. :razz:

Need to sort out this endoscope software out........nice ,sharp rifling though, all it needs is a pull through :D

I'd bet an extra four round magazine for that rifle would cost a bit....if you could find one for sale.

Found some new software for my endoscopes. Unfortunately the 5.5 mm OD one has stopped working so I hade to use the larger one to produce these images. It is too large to fit down the bore BUT I have ordered a new one that will.............

Last night's reloading session for the Savage.( More Rock & Roll music on YouTube!!)

49 cases ( 50th is 'dry' loaded as a test round)
FIRST LOAD.jpg
Cases; Winchester.
Powder; Tubal 7000.
Load; 52 gr.
Bullet; PRVI 120 gr FBHP.

I have another 50 to load after trying the first loads.

No range time until I have received the parts to adjust the eye relief on the scope. :(
