You must remember that this thread is a series of day by day reports as published in the TIMES DIARY & INDEX OF THE WAR 1914-1918. It is a facsimile reprint of the original and the detail presented is not necessarily a complete report of the day's actions.

The size of the published report is 3 times larger than the daily diary entry for the 22nd and centers on the Americans alone................
